Last week, the European Cyber Competence Centre (ECCC) hosted the Digital Europe Info Day in Milan, where our Tiko Pro team was thrilled to participate. As experts in EU funding, we’re committed to continuous learning to stay ahead of new trends, insights, and technical requirements for successful project applications. Our goal is alway clear - to equip our clients with the precise strategies needed to secure EU funding and drive impactful projects.
The event offered valuable insights into upcoming opportunities within the Digital Europe Programme (DEP), giving us a roadmap for the January DEP calls and a preview of the next Work Programme announcement in December.
Throughout the sessions, we delved into topics essential for successful project submissions:
- Validation procedures and proposal crafting tips for competitive applications,
- Guidance on navigating DEP’s open calls, and
- A focus on cybersecurity initiatives—showcasing how digital innovation is actively supported across the EU.
Looking ahead, DEP investments over the next three years will total €353 million, focusing on AI and post-quantum cryptography (PQC) innovation, supporting national and cross-border hubs, improving the readiness of SMEs, fostering the network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs), and promoting dual-use technologies.

As a practical example of how Digital Europe projects drive cybersecurity advancements, one of the projects that was mentioned was the CRACowi project (Cyber Resilience Act – Compliance Wizard). This project is a great example of how DEP funding supports real solutions; in this case, it helps SMEs, manufacturers, and distributors comply with the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act. By developing a Compliance Wizard tool, CRACowi aims to simplify compliance, automate assessments, and enable businesses to meet cybersecurity standards effectively. With over a decade of expertise in EU funds acquisition and project management, Tiko Pro was key in co-designing the CRACoWi project and its documentation.

One of the highlights of the event was the chance to connect with industry professionals, project partners, and peers through engaging one-on-one sessions. These interactions were invaluable for discussing project ideas, exploring synergies, and expanding our understanding of Europe’s dynamic digital landscape.
If you’re interested in developing a DEP project, we’re here to help turn your vision into reality with a winning application. Let’s work together to drive digital innovation forward!
💡TikoBits We’re also proud to share that, with a 100% success rate on our recent project applications - our last five projects were awarded financing - we bring proven expertise to the DEP and CEF landscape.
