Funded under the Europe Digital Program, CRACoWi - Cyber Resilience Act - Compliance – Wizard addresses the growing cybersecurity challenges in the European digital market in response to the European Commission's Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The project introduces cybersecurity prerequisites throughout the product supply chain, aiming to streamline compliance processes and enhance digital product security across the EU.
CRACoWi’s primary goal is to offer automated support for CRA compliance, with a focus on cybersecurity from the inception of a product through its entire lifecycle. By utilizing artificial intelligence, the project provides automatic CRA self-assessment and supports cybersecurity certification, helping manufacturers, distributors, and importers to meet the stringent requirements set forth by the CRA.
The CRACoWi project involves a consortium of partners from across Europe (Greece, Germany, Slovenia, Cyprus), including SMEs, distributors, and regulatory bodies. The leading partner in the project is ITML - Information Technology for Market Leadership, and the consortium includes a diverse range of stakeholders: Motor Oil Hellas, Motor Oil Renewable Energy, Onekey, Bureau Vertias, Centre for Technological Support, Development and Innovation, SLOA AppArt, Tiko Pro, Erminas GmbH, Sevenshift, Meazon SA,Digital Innovation Hub Slovenia, URSIV.
The project emphasizes not only regulatory compliance but also the importance of proactive cybersecurity management. CRACoWi’s holistic approach ensures that products are continuously monitored for vulnerabilities, covering every stage of the product lifecycle and reinforcing the security of digital products within the EU market.
CRACoWi is an innovative project addressing the growing cybersecurity challenges in the European digital market. Developed in response to the European Commission’s Cyber Resilience Act, CRACoWi provides essential tools and support to help SMEs, manufacturers, distributors, and importers meet new cybersecurity standards throughout the product lifecycle. CRACoWi is a project focused on designing a digital assistant (wizard) that guides companies on how to make their products secure from the start, throughout their lifecycle, and even after they hit the market.
Tiko Pro is leading the dissemination efforts within the CRACoWi consortium, focusing on ensuring that all stakeholders, from SMEs to regulatory bodies, are well-informed and empowered to navigate the complexities of the CRA. Through strategic communication, Tiko Pro drives cybersecurity awareness, fosters trust, and facilitates cooperation among EU members, helping to create a unified front in the fight against cybersecurity threats. This leadership in dissemination ensures that the project's goals are effectively communicated and its impact maximized across all levels of engagement.
As a result, CRACoWi contributes to the EU’s overarching goal of enhancing cybersecurity cooperation and building capacity, particularly in the context of digital product cybersecurity. The project strengthens the role of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) in threat detection and complements the previous efforts made under the Digital Europe Program.
CRACoWi demonstrates a significant commitment to elevating cybersecurity practices within the EU digital ecosystem. By providing SMEs and regulatory authorities with the tools and knowledge to meet cybersecurity challenges, CRACoWi helps ensure a more secure, resilient, and connected European digital economy.
