The program addresses various topics and cutting-edge digital technologies such as:
- AI,
- cloud-to-edge infrastructure,

- digital transformation.
One of the most prominent and supported topics is Data Spaces.
To facilitate the development of the data market and the general capitalization of data, the Commission is investing in common European data spaces in strategic economic areas and areas of public interest, such as health, the Green Deal, transport, security, and law enforcement.
Several calls for proposals are expected in 2023 and 2024, namely:
Health Data Space and Digital Product Passport in 2023 (open), and Data Space for Cultural Heritage and Data Space for Tourism (anticipated in late fall 2023);
Language Data Space, European Green Deal Data Space, Data Space for Skills, Energy Data Space, Data Space for Manufacturing, and Agricultural Data Space (expected to open in summer 2024).
The funding in each call is in the order of several million euros and the projects mainly aim to implement and test innovative solutions in a real, operational environment.
Consortia proposals from different organizations in several countries are expected, as well as linking activities with existing projects and initiatives and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
