Interoperability, existing EU data infrastructure, interconnected local digital twins, and minimal operability mechanisms must be considered when designing a project.
Innovative solutions to be implemented and tested should build on virtual reality or augmented reality and metaverse technologies and provide benefits for local authorities and citizens. The use of AI, multidimensional models, visualization solutions and security-by-design principles is also expected.
The idea is to merge physical and virtual spaces in hybrid, immersive environments with data from multiple data sources, including EU data spaces.
Industry stakeholders, innovative SMEs, content creators and mission cities should be part of your consortium.
The deadline for submissions is September 26. The budget of the call is EUR 15 million, with projects funded under the simple grant scheme with a funding rate of 50% for large companies and 75% for SMEs.
