In addition to them, two other top candidates have been selected, Dr Michal Maco from Corwin SI, d.o.o. and Andraž Žurman from LabCore d.o.o.

What convinced the committee to nominate our two directors?

The committee highlighted their exceptional charisma and their enthusiastic and respectful cooperation, which is also felt by all Tiko Pro employees.

The Young Manager Awards have been held since 2005 (before that, the Young Businessman was selected in 1999), but this is the first time that Kristina and Martina have been nominated for the award, which we consider a great honour. In the opinion of the jury, the two nominees are a symbol and a role model for cooperation between individuals in companies.  

How did our two CEOs react to the nomination?

"We are aware that today's world is complex and no one is perfect or superior. Becoming aware of your own shortcomings as an individual and realising the strengths of others is the biggest step you can take towards maturity. In this way, you also achieve greater focus and at the same time it is easier to look towards your mission. Trusting each other, letting go and letting the one who is better and more capable in terms of experience and knowledge handle things has brought us the greatest possible and synergistic progress." says Kristina Kočet Hudrap.

Martina Anderlič adds, "We have never run away from responsibility and commitment. We are very aware of our responsibilities towards each other, our employees, the company, our business partners and our families. And as a result, this responsibility is even more important and I am glad that the Managers' Association has recognised us as a precedent where we can run a company together as two CEOs. All the more so because collaboration as a value in itself is so embedded in the DNA of the Managers' Association. We are both so happy to put it into practice on a daily basis - and it shows at all levels of the company - including among the employees.''

The final selection with live voting will take place on 31 January 2024 at the January Manager Association Meeting, where the winner for Young Manager will be announced. This will be preceded by a presentation and discussion with the finalists at the Managers' Association's pre-New Year Masters.
